So what I did especially when I knew certain individuals couldn't be reasoned with or I would never get a word in edgewise and I ultimately knew this was the end of our friendship, I wrote such individuals a tactful yet assertive letter so that they knew exactly how I felt, I said a prayer and then I cut my ethereal ties with them. I also kept a journal of how I felt after releasing such individuals - so that I could be reminded of such lessons and so I wouldn't repeat my mistakes. All in all, the feeling I got after releasing them to the Universe was a huge weight lifted off my chest. No greater feeling than relief. Since then, it has been easier for me to set boundaries with ALL of my loved ones and as I grew respectful of myself, I grew respectful and more loving to the people I already had in my life; while welcoming new and refreshing people and energies!
For those others that I knew still had a fighting chance to be in my life and were worthy of second chances, I prayed to God and Archangel Gabriel to "please help me tactfully speak to [insert name] by allowing the exact right words to flow naturally and easily through me." Then, I spoke or texted with one family member and another then another as needed to practice this skill until eventually, I overcame my fear of speaking face-to-face with my loved ones. I was always felt scared to speak to my loved ones because I always felt that I never said the right things and it would always seem to end up into some kind of confrontation, which I clearly DID NOT want. It did not happen over night - tactful speaking and/or writing happens with practice, common sense and lots of empathy.
Anyway, this is what I wanted to share with you in hopes of helping you. Also, stay tuned for big announcements here at The Healing Diva.
"Archangel Michael, I ask you to protect me, my loved ones, my vehicle, and my home with your powerful shield. Surround us in your purple light, which allows only pure love to penetrate. Please stay with me day and night, and keep my loves safe [(OPTIONAL) name specific people or situations]."
Until next time, I bid you all love, light and compassion. God Bless you all.
