I gave myself a 3-week break from EVERYTHING (which included meditation and going to the gym--YIKES!) Boy, I can tell a huge difference--I've overindulged because throughout the year I wasn't sick and now I'm fighting a cold because of my lethargic body and soul. WOW!!! This was my cue to "quit playing" and get back to indulging into myself--taking care of me. So for the next few days, I've decided to do a juice cleanse to clear my body of ALL toxins. I know by Monday--I'll definitely feel the difference. So now, I'm prepping my body wants again to get back on track and get down to business. I've also gone back to my daily 1-hour meditation. Slowly, but surely, I am feeling good again.
What has this taught me? To stay consistent and keep up the exercises and daily rituals which suits me. MAINTAIN BALANCE -- It's ok to indulge but not overindulge; especially since my body suffered. At any rate, the year has just begun and it's so full of possibilities. I'm excited, are you?
