Life is too short; I have said that time and time again. I got “the call” from Dina today informing me that you’ve gone on to Paradise. Another rude awakening for me to follow my dreams and keep moving until “my number is up.” I had to break the news to your Godson and he fell silent—I mean what could one say with news like that? I hope you are adjusting to your new surroundings there. I’m sure you’re safe and sound with Wela and Charissa. But most of all, I hope you have found the eternal peace you are so deserving of. In case, you don’t remember—I want to remind you that I am grateful for all of the good and bad times. Hey, the bad times were actually great >:o). We got our butts kicked by our parents, but it was well worth it. We never got in trouble again…at least, not stupid enough to get into trouble for the same thing. Tee hee. You will always be my “PIC” and I can’t thank you enough for being there for me back in high school especially when I thought I was alone and everyone was against me getting married and having my baby so young. No one seemed to believe in me, but you always did. For that, I am eternally grateful to you.
About Christopher, I can’t imagine what he’s going through; but know this—I got your back like you always had mine. I’m here for your son—that’s the way I’ll honor you and your memory.
Well, I better let you get back to your Guardian Angel Orientation. By now, I’m sure you have already met Chris, Cleofe, Mark & Mahala; and you have probably met “Ama”-my grandpa and other family members of mine. Oh and tell Gina—we love and miss her too. Go ahead and tell them stories, I’m sure y’all are havin’ a ball talkin’ about us down here on earth and y’all are laughin’ at our expense. It’s all good! You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. Till we meet again, PIC.
Love, Light and Compassion to All.
