Also, it's often been used to describe the strength of children and how "resilient" they are to almost anything. But how about adults?! Yes, it definitely applies to adults as well--WE ARE ABLE TO BOUNCE BACK to whatever shape or form because that's how the human race/spirit is. I've been to certain places in my life where I thought & felt that "it was the end of the world," especially after a job loss, financial woes, etc. Then, when I finally thought about it--I'm like, am I stuck on stupid?! What am I thinking?! Material things can always be replaced, but you can never replace lives. Then, after a day of wallowing in self-pity, what do I do?! I do whatever it takes to get back on my feet and on solid ground. Instead of blaming the economy and/or the world for what's happened to me, I take that energy to constructively find a solution for myself. I've asked myself: what can I do to re-invent myself?! What other ways are there to creatively market myself? Better yet, what kind of classes can I take to add to my skillset? Staying positive is also key. Nothing is ever that bad; God will always place you where you need to be instead of where you want to be. Accept the fact that perhaps something's aren't meant to be and move on.
We are all meant for great things; and the only thing we need to keep in mind is we must be fluid to change. Once we recognize this, then we can't go wrong. Bear in mind, it'll probably feel like it's taking forever to get where you want to go (especially if you're just as impatient as I am...LOL), but it is definitely worth the journey of finally arriving there...to your rightful place, your calling.
Remember, YOU ARE RESILIENT. I bid you love, light & blessings.
